Yesterday was my handsome husband's 29th birthday. I don't think he'll mind that I tell you his age because he hasn't hit the 3-0 yet. Anyway, we celebrated on Saturday night with friends at a local brewery and spent time with family on Sunday for homemade fish tacos and enchiladas. Needless to say it was a weekend of indulgences (have you seen his birthday cake below?). Jon's birthday always reminds me that mine is right around the corner and I'm not nearly ready for it. Sometimes I wish I could hit the reset button on the year, but since I can't, I will just have to be satisfied with living in the now; and finding myself a fabulous birthday dress in the process.
