I'm embarrassed to say that I've only seen two of the films nominated for Best Picture for this Sunday's Academy Awards, therefore I can't say who I think deserves to win in many of the categories. My husband and I had been meaning to see a couple more of the films up for awards, but alas life got in the way. *sigh* With that said, we did really enjoy American Hustle. There is no denying the cast was spectacular and yes, I'm secretly hoping that Jennifer Lawrence takes home the Best Supporting Actress nod.
My main motivation for tuning into the Oscars is for the fashion. It's fun to see the celebrities get all dolled up and put their prettiest foot forward. I love to see what critics will dub the "best" and "worst" dressed of the night, although at times they can be a little cruel. This Sunday I'm planning on making some fancy popcorn (found here) and pouring a couple glasses of bubbly to celebrate the Silver Screen's big night. Cheers to a fabulous weekend!
