The Art of the Thank You Card

I'm starting a weekly segment on being thankful and thought what could more appropriate than highlighting the ever-forgotten "thank you" card? I am a huge, I mean HUGE believer in sending thank you cards to friends, loved ones, associates, etc.  It is a way to show someone you truly care about what they may have done for you, gifted you or even to tell them how much you appreciate that person. I don't know one single person that doesn't like to receive these grateful "love" notes and it always puts a smile on their face. Also, if you haven't noticed, stationary and letterpress are having a pretty big moment and the most gorgeous cards can be found just about anywhere. Some of my favorite card sets I've scored have been while perusing the home section at Marshall's or T.J. Maxx or even in the dollar bin at Target or Michael's.

Below I've highlighted some of my favorite thank you cards. It's nice to have some fancy cards laying around for the unexpected time you may need to send a thank you and of course, I love a good D.I.Y card too (granted time allows). So, the lesson here is that any way you say "thank you" is better than not saying it at all, but it makes it extra special if it's written down in ink.
Give Thanks
